IMRAN KHAN: From Cricket Legend to Political Icon.
Imran Khan’s face is well known in Pakistan, but more so in the entire cricketing stratosphere. He quit his cricket career in 1992 after having captained the team that won the coveted Cricket World Cup trophy for Pakistan. To an outsider, it might appear very easy to draw the conclusions that after calling it quits from playing cricket, he went on to politics considering how lucrative politics is. Even so, there was no way his admirers would envisage Khan engaged in slow, demonstrative and conservative shooting politics.

Thus Khan was born in Pakistan, but later, he spent a large part of his childhood time in Pakistan. In fact, Khan is a native of Mianwali and his higher education took him to Lahore, Hostos Community College and lastly to the Royal Grammar School London.
